For more than 20 years, Garret Nancolas wore the title of Mayor.

"I had the privilege of serving this community and West Valley Medical Center has always been a partner with the City as a major employer and community sponsor."

He says when he needed surgical and cancer care, he knew exactly where to turn: West Valley Medical Center.

"This hospital is the perfect example of patient-first care. The professionalism displayed by all was reassuring, kind, caring, and above and beyond the call of duty. The care they showed my wife and family was humbling and genuine."

Garret was in the hospital eight times over a 20-month period of time for care and surgeries related to cancer.

"Everyone was reassuring and kind and it even extended to my home where they checked in on me and my family."

He says the team got him back to doing what he loves.

"I tell my friends and family there is simply no other place I would rather trust with my health care than West Valley Medical Center, that's why I say Take me to West Valley."
