Heart Warning Signs To Watch

Heart attack warning signs:

  • Chest discomfort – pressure or squeezing
  • Discomfort in other areas – arms, back, neck, jaw or stomach
  • Shortness of breath – with or without chest discomfort.  
  • Other signs – cold sweat, nausea, vomiting, lightheadedness

Stroke warning signs:

  • Sudden numbness or weakness
  • Sudden confusion, trouble speaking
  • Sudden trouble seeing
  • Sudden trouble walking, dizziness
  • Sudden severe headache

Cardiovascular disease is now the leading cause of death in the U.S. for both men and women. If you have any warning signs, seek help immediately.
