Idaho Surgery Center becomes campus of West Valley Medical Center
CALDWELL, Idaho – The Idaho Surgery Center in Caldwell is now a campus of West Valley Medical Center.
The Caldwell Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the transition with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at
noon Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 315 Medical Drive in Caldwell ― near the Franklin exit.
On Dec. 9 this outpatient surgical facility officially became a department of Caldwell’s community hospital. The Idaho Surgery Center, located just off the Franklin exit in Caldwell, includes three state-of-the-art operating rooms and two procedure rooms.
“Both the hospital and the Idaho Surgery Center focus first and foremost on a high-quality, personalized approach,” WVMC CEO Julie Taylor said. “With these mutual goals and a joint commitment to improving the community, the new relationship is a natural fit.
The Idaho Surgery Center is supported by highly qualified surgeons, anesthesiologists and other physician specialists as well as professional nurses and technologists. Many of the physicians who perform surgeries at the center have also practiced at WVMC for many years.
“We are honored to work with the physicians of the Idaho Surgery Center ― practitioners whose extensive experience and proven excellence are highly regarded throughout the Treasure Valley,” Taylor said.
